Blue Jay Basketball Club's Fall season is a recreational league that includes teams from the Blue Jay Basketball Club and surrounding communities!

Bondurant's Fall League is quickly becoming one of the more respected and appreciated youth league programs in the area.

 

• Fall League Season runs mid-October through December
  • Practices start week of October 21-25, 2024
  • Games begin Saturday, November 9th, 2024

 

• Fees for club players include approximately 15 practices, 10 game schedule (played on 5 Saturdays over two months), officials, and game gym space

 

• Teams will play 2 games on each of the following weekends ( for a total of 10 games total) : 
  • November 16th, 2024
  • November 23rd, 2024
  • December 7th, 2024
  • December 14th, 2024
  • December 21st, 2024

 

• All games played in Bondurant, Iowa at these gym facilities 

 

Blue Jay Basketball Club teams are split into boy and girl divisions for grades 3rd through 6th grade.

 

The league season consists of approximately 15 practices & 10 games played to build the player’s skills.

• Playing time in the league is as equal as possible.
• Families are able to stay in our community and kids are able to play with their friends.
• League season is designed for development of all youth
• Players who play in Fall League are eligible to be considered for the more competitive Tournament Season

The Club strives to make each league team as equal as possible.

 

There will be a few players with more experience and skill at this time on each team as well as a few that are beginners to the game of basketball. This provides the opportunity for the more experienced players to work on leadership, accountability & unselfishness by putting them in some different situations than they have faced before. The players just starting learn persistence and commitment because as they learn the skills of basketball, they can get better quickly by working on them.

 

The Club looks for ways to make the game more fun for everyone!

 

We strongly encourage the coaches to match up best player versus best player during the games so every child is put into a situation to be successful in the games.

 

League season is designed to offer a positive, welcoming and learning environment. The league is a great way to work on a kid and team's game before getting into the more competitive tournament season!
